Default Replacing turn signals with LED array

I'm thinking of replacing the bulbs in my daytime running lights/turn signals with an array of high-output LEDs, but I need to know a general figure on the amount of mcd output by our 2 different bulbs in each lens when constrained to about a +-15 deg output width. I'd probably replace each one with ~12 40k MCD white LEDs but I dont know if that would be bright enough.

If anyone knows fill me in

40K people will definetly see that. Just remember LED's are real directional. They don't flood well. But I think it will work.

yeah which is why I would use such a large array, I would curve it around to fit the profile of the lens. Plus the lens itself should diffract the light some.
