Replace Monsoon Amp ONLY? HELP ME...
Hi all,
I have received the speakers i ordered.
I made sure to purchase The proper ohms for each area...
ie. 2 ohm subs and 2 ohm door. 4 ohm hatch area..
(2001 Camaro SS)
NOW.....I would like to replace only the amp in the spare tire area,
Can i do everything in the hatch area?
What i mean is:
I would really like to just unhook/splice into
the wiring right by the amp in the hatch area..
And then put the new amp in the same area and
just hook the new amp to the existing wiring.
Totally leaving the HU and any wiring in the dash alone.
As i only need the amp to push the Sail panel subs
and the front door speaks..(all 2 ohm).
Also what amp would be a nice fit?
Any ideas are greatly apprecitaed...
THANKS!!!

Alot of information is avaliable for you.

It would be alot better to run a aftermarket amp and upgrade the wires while your in there.
