ati2dvag so i have a laptop to tune my car. it is a year old toshiba somethin are other. and about every hour windows will shut down and say it has had a fatel error. i have a virus scanner and nothing comes up. it is ati2dvag file that is messing up. should i re do the computer and start from scratch are how do you fix this i can fix a car but this thing wow i have no idea. stupid computers/ are maybe it is the user any help would be great

Do you have a virus scanner that is up to date? Have you scanned lately?
Have you scanned for spyware

After the basics are out of the way we can do these things...
ati2dvag.dll is a ATI driver file.
I would uninstall (completely) the ati drivers and then reload them

Make sure to choose the right driver for your laptop.

Download and install the updated video drivers from www.ati.com. If that doesn't solve it, re-install windows.

i have scanned for spy ware and have a up to date virus scanner. i did those thing first. i will try to re install them see if that helps. does it hurt a lap top to leave in your car in the cold and heat. somebody said it hurts them from the vibrations to

Vibrations can hurt the laptops hard drive if the neddle is not parked.
When the OS shuts down it parks the neddle, the only time its not parked is when it loses power in the middle of a read/write.
