Default How to disable daytime running lights?

Does any body know how to disable the daytime running lights on a 2001 Camaro?

With the car off, just pull up on the emergency handle once click. Then let it back down from that click, but not down all the way. The E brake will be disengaged, but the switch will still be activated. You will see the BRAKE light on when you start the car. You will have to live with the brake light being on. But this is how I have been doing it. I would like to know if there is a different way of doing it without the E brake.

I have a !DRL mod on my website. Not sure what page, check the table of contents bottom of page 1.
My mod dumps the DRLs while keeping the auto headlights.
