Default How to get to lil Blinking Red Light on top of Dash for the alarm system

It doesnt "Blink" when its armes so i believe that it has "burned out"

How do I go by replacing this thing or even getting close to it..

also part # for bulb would be great aswell.

Part number 10257168 "Lamp, Security Indicator"

Removal is easy...Take off the t-tops and remove the two phillips screws from the top of tha A pillar trim panels. Remove the trim panels - they just snap off once the screws have been removed. Lift up the upper dash panel - it is held in place by snaps and velcro strips. Be very careful because the edges are quite sharp. Reach underneath and remove the LED by twisting to unlock.

Reviving this from the dead. If I want to replace this with an over the counter LED - Will just any 12v LED work or is this circuit already resisted somewhere causing me to need to use a lower voltage LED?
