Found this thread in the Racers Lounge. Sounds like it should work and is an easy DIY project. I'm thinking about trying to do it myself to make sure it'll work.

Now it's not like using a Garmin or Nuvi, but it's a nice cheaper Lo-Jack if it works like it should.

I wonder how easily this can be tested out... There's no reason it shouldn't work -- but getting the phone company to release that info sounds like it could be a problem.. Since the phone isn't currently used by you in service, etc... do you think the phone company would give the location of the phone? There is no real way to prove it's yours/what you're up to/etc. -- unless the police get involved and file a report -- or something......
