Kicker DS600 Speakers Hey I just ordered 4 kicker DS600 series speaker for my 98 TA and they work good but if the car is turned on and isnt runnin, if you turn up the CD player, it starts blinking and shuts down, and comes back on within like 3 seconds?? whats the deal? Do I need to get an Amp to push the speakers and get some better sound? What should I do? Thanks

I'm not positive about this but my bro had 4 kicker speakers (not sure what model) in his car running on just an aftermarket cd player without an amp for them. If you turned them up to loud it would be to much for the HU and cause it to shut off for like 5 sec. Sounds like the same problem your having. So I figure an amp would fix it. It will also make it sound much better.

yea its got an aftermarket CD player,which needs to be changed anyways, but I was thinkin about goin with a Sub and an amp just to add some bass to the car. Did he fix his??
