Ignition Cylinder
I'm change my crappy ignition cylinder on my 01 SS. I got the Air Bag clock spring out and the exciter plate that looks like a steering angle sensor(metal wheel with slots in the edges) off. took out the 3 torx bolts and now i cant get the damn blinker and ignition cylinder out. anyone know how???

Are you replacing the ignition cylinder or the ignition switch? The cylinder comes out the side of the column and does not require removal of the T/S switch or other parts:
1. Remove the steering wheel
2. Insert the ignition key in the cylinder but leave in the lock position
3. Remove the ignition lock retaining screw
4. Disconnect the ignition contact connector from the wiring harness
5. Disconnect the retainer that holds the contact wires from the lock housing cover.
6. Pull the contact wire harness up through the steering column
7. Remove the ignition lock cylinder from the side of the column
