I can get a set of fobs really cheap and I was wondering if I can use them on my car? they would be from a 08 GM truck. I know it wouldnt ahve the trunk button but I would just like to konw if they will work to lock/unlock my doors. Thanks

Go to installuniverstiy.com, under install documents,their is a write-up on additional key fobs and how to program them to your vechicle.

Check the FCC ID on the back of the remotes. If they're the same, it'll work but I'll tell you right now that they're not

i can't answer for all key fobs, but when i bought my ws6 my pop gave me an extra one for his olds intrigue and it could not be programmed to work.

i hear ya! same thing i was hoping i got one off of ebay for 30 bucks
