Default Whats thisair compressorlikesoundin my car.

um is there souposeto be an air compressorof some sort in our cars.
When i unhook my battery and say i put it back on this air compressor like sound comes from my pass seat. it will do it when the battery is going dead too from listening to radio to long with car off.
Any ideas?

And no my car doesnt have air ride

I would say it has something to do with the passenger side lumbar support, assuming it has it. Just a guess and somewhere to start

yep its what inflates our lumbar and side supports....

yea problem though.The lumba ron that seat doesnt work

The compressor under the pass. seat runs both seats.

Well do your seats support lumbar and side supports? Are your seats plastic and have ribs on the side or are they all leather?

Maybe your interior was swapped?

on the backside of the seats they are plastic. and i do have ther controls for the lumbar on the side of the seats

Well if there was no fuse, most likely some other things wouldnt work nor the lumbar. Check on the back of the seats, maybe the hose isnt hooked up.

hmm mine makes the sound whenever i adjust either side. i thought it was normal are they usually silent?

Its suppose to make that sound. Dont worry its normal. The OP was about his making noise but nothing happening. Did you check the hoses?

I think it runs off the CB for the defroster, don't ask me how I know..
