Default Just did an a4 to m6 swap, now have electrical issues

I just had a trans swap on the Z and now the "brake" light stays on on the dash and the day time running lights/ auto headlights don't come on. Is there a wiring issue or something that needs to be plugged back in? The trunk button and remote trunk release doesn't work as well. I want to mess with it after class so any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Check the two plugs on the DRL module behind the radio. It controls all those functions on a manual transmission car (you probably don't have front turn signals either).

I thought of that but it doesn't fit all the symptoms. If the parking brake switch is grounded out or otherwise engaged, the hatch release should work. Although it could be two separate problems - the brake indicator, DRLs, and automatic headlights could all be caused by the parking brake switch while the hatch release could be a fuse or something.

All the wiring instructions are in the sticky. A4 to M6. Sounds like the two wires for the hatch release are not connected together and the e-brake is grounded.

Yeah, I figured it was just some wiring issues that was overlooked when finishing the swap. Ill check it out tonight, thanks for the quick advice.
