Default Cammed WS6 vs. pullied Lightning (update: video - post #5)

I got a video of it but don't know where the cord is (it's not my camera), so I'll have to post that tomorrow.

We got a couple runs in where there were some misunderstandings about starting and other assorted bullshit, then finally got a clean 45 roll in. I honked 3 times and gave him the hit. He got out about a 1/2 car, and by the time I hit 3rd I started to walk past him. He said his torque converter locked up and he couldn't get out of 3rd gear, which explains why he faded so fast. I was definitely surprised.. those things hold strong through the lower gears. Very impressive for a truck.

His mods - 6 lb pulley, CAI, exhaust, tune.. maybe some other minor **** that I'm forgetting. Said he put down 375 ~HP/485 ~TQ.
My mods - Dominator 2 cam, lid, LTs, duals, JAAM ram air, dyno tune. No spray.

Should have sprayed it.. would have made up for the false start..

We agreed that I wouldn't spray. I prefer to spray against everything.. mostly for my enjoyment.

You don,t need to spray at em you have more HP and your car is lighter.

Great kill man those lightnings are pretty bad *** for a truck.

BTW.. it wasn't a false start. If I honk I try to give the other guy the hit. As I said, his torque converter locked at the top of 3rd so he faded fast.
