Evos are a lot uglier than a Pontiac Aztek, at least the Aztek doesn't have a shopping cart handle on the trunk.

 

Yes, but it's based off the functional wing from the WRC cars. And there are some EVOs that don't even have spoilers from the factory. And let's not get started on the T/A's massive rear spoiler, and how it probably has absolutely zero functional purpose. A spoiler doesn't make a whole car "ugly." I don't think many people would side with you on the whole Evo uglier than an Aztek thing.

that "massive" rear spoiler on the TA blends with the body lines...and looks more integrated into the trunk...i fail to see where it is massive...and the formulas are even smaller than that...

 

Formulas have almost 0 differentiation from V6 Firebirds. And the "massive" spoiler on the T/A blends with the body lines, yes. And I think it fits well on the EVO/STI. And if someone that buys one doesn't like it, they can either buy a model that doesn't have it, or take it off very easily.

 

Not in the least sense of the word. Evos and STIs are ******* ugly, what you you expect when you take an economy car 4 door sedan and tack on all kinds of crap like a body kit and enormous wing??

First off, it doesn't matter what the WRC cars have. Those ugly *** wings aren't going to help you on the streets with the typical speeds that people drive, and they simply aren't needed. They don't put them on the production cars for aerodynamics, they put them on there for looks. Case closed.

The T/A's don't have a "massive" rear spoiler. Sounds to me like you have a "massive" inferiority complex, which is evident in every post you make in this section. Then again if I drove an S2000 I might be bitter as well. The T/A's spoiler compliments the body of the car, it was designed with the car, not as an afterthought like the Evo/STI wings. And yes, it is functional at triple digit speeds, but you wouldn't even understand that so its not worth getting into it with you.

The Evo is ugly for a multitude of reasons, not the least of which is that is a riced up lancer economy car. If you like it then great for you, nobody cares, keep your worthless comments to yourself.
