Killed a Self-Proclaimed "Sleeper"
I get closer and notice that it's an older looking acura, but it's de-badged so I couldn't say exactly which one. It was a 2 door but I'm pretty sure it wasn't an older integra. It looked fairly tasteful other than the token fart can style mufflers. I almost moved along except I saw that the plate said SLEEPER. So I was like WTF is the point of letting everyone know if it's a sleeper?
I pulled up alongside him, and he was kind of zoned out looking straight ahead. I opened my cutout and revved and he jumped so hard! Haha I love doing that. So I pull slowly past him to see if he tries to keep up, and he doesn't. I ignore it, kind of pissed that he'd have a plate like that and he wouldn't even race.
So I come up to a stop light and he's behind me. Light turns green and I move ahead of traffic as always, but he's right on my *** (Guess he saw my LS1TECH GET USED TO THE VIEW plate frame). So I move over a lane since it's nice and clear up ahead.
I figure he'll act like a typical ricer, so I wait for him at 55mph (a great spot for me). Sure enough, he pulls up next to me and punches it. So I give him a car and punch it too. My stall jumps up to the top of the powerband and I start pulling him....but not nearly as hard as I thought I would. By the time we hit 100 I only had him by 2 cars or so. What the hell?
So we start slowing down and he's looks excited as **** about the race, giving me thumbs up, etc, and I'm sure I look confused. So we stop at the next light, and I ask him what he has done. He says his car is gutted and has a turbo...which makes a lot more sense now.
Kind of funny that he STILL caught me sleeping even though his plate said sleeper. Either way, props to him for making his honda actually fast.

Tonight on the way back home a modded S2000 wanted to play. Some asian dude was in the car. Only stuff I could really see was exhaust and a carbon fiber hood. We lined up at 60 on the highway, he honked it off, and off we went. It wasn't pretty at all. 6-8 cars by the time I hit the brakes. He was cool and gave me a humbled thumbs up.
