Got it.....YOu guys raced at 41 and ave 10...you're NUTS.....cops sit at those over passes all the time. LOL.

IDK man..that first race he had quite the lead and you caught and past him. THe second race it seemed to start out pretty fair and it 'appeared' (can't really see) that you ended up the same distance in front. It's just too odd.....maybe something is wrong with his car? What size stall and rear gears do you have?

 

the vids are gay i wanted in car second race i got him by 4 and let off at 110 i have 273s and auto stalled 3100 and longtubes fullexaust with a cutout thats everything no lid or anything else except a tune and it pulls hard but i miss my built tranny

 

we actually raced on friant and its not our usual spot we just wanted 2 do 2 quick runs

 

ls1passion get your car to a track once spring rolls around. run it a few times with no bottle and such and other guy should run also. so we can see exactly whats going on.

im starting to think your friend has a sick car and doesnt know it. i doubt you got more than 315-320 rwhp. if even that

a stock m6 still basically traps the same as a LT,exhaust a4, i just dont see how you would run him down so easily unless his car isnt running well up top.

blk you sure your car is running healthy up top? have you been to a track lately?

i bet its a halo bar setup with the noids hidden under the lid...ive seen completely sneeky setups that are killer. the tank is prolly in the spear...

It's just that something's not adding up looking at teh car variances given the setups of the two cars.

A 3100 stall 2.73 geared auto that's probably 320RWHP won't make up 4-5 lengths on a roll from 35-130 (or whatever it was) against a perfectly running M6 Z that's putting down teh same power with better rear gears. depending on the 'punch' the auto with teh stall should jump out and then keep it's pace...that's about it.

I'm no auto guy, but isn't 3100 a relatively small stall?

 

this is another one of those odd times when i agree with pony

but a 3100rpm stall converter is very small for a LS1, most Ls1 guys go at least 3600 all the way up to about 4400 depending if its DD or not.

 

my 3100 stall kicks so hard up 2 100mph people think im a 6 speed with 410s no spnning from a dig almost hook at full throttle instantly my 273s starts where my stall leaves off its actually a very explosive combo but feels weak 2 me right now i need 2 fully build my other tranny again because it doesnt kick as hard without it still very quick though

 

back to an un answered question did you buy your car used or are you the original owner?

so there has to be something else that was changed that you just dont know about, believe me i wont ever repeat this again, but Ponygt65 is right

there is no way your car should be able to make 4 cars back up, then pull on him hard, even fi your stall was bigger that shouldnt happen, and at those speeds it wasnt a matter of traction or driver error.

unless his car is running lean up top, or some other mechanical condition, then you should not even pull away from a gear'd M6, at best you should jump him out of the hole and him either slowly reel you in or just stay dead nuts even.

 

it use 2 have fully built tranny but i destroyed it .....what do u think could be done because all the shops ive taken it 2 say the same thing justa a bolt on ls1 and ive taken it 2 many many shops 4 oppinions and good shops so tell me what could be done???

rickman automotive dude its a great shop also its been down 2 a **** load of shops im getting curious about my car again and everytime i go 2 a shop they tell me the same thing bolton ls1 come out 2 in and out on friday and check out my car yes there 273s ive had a shop tell me cost me 100$ and thinking of going with some 390s
