and in all reality, the 350Z is new age rice if you consider a 10sec hatch rice.

a 10 sec hatch is a fast car there is no getting around that, and it obviously has some decent work done to it, which rice does not.

 

I'm not sure how a car as nice as a 350Z is categorized with Civics and Neons.

 

You're right, I was wrong to classify the car as rice. However as xhk said, the owners usually are.

 

yeah but look at what the 350 came from...how many ****** riced out 300Z's did you see back in the day before you saw 1 nice TT one with a nice body kit that's not rice as ****.

exactly.. the owners give them a bad rap... they are very nice cars. and are decently quick... far nicer than any civic... but the owners arent..

Rice/Ricer= a car transformed/ the person's Mentality. Not a Car as it is originally. Civics,preludes,300z, ect ect are not Rice the ones with huge *** wings driven by morons.. those are the rice.

imo the 300ZX are really nice cars and for there time rocked anything GM was pumping out. and the VG30DETT-V6 engine was VERY reliable. they took home i know atleast one 24 hour lemans race and a few other world races championships. untill the engine was banned for being a competitive edge.

at least nissan has made a Z that comes close to it in performance.

2 magazines have run them 13.4 imo one was Edmunds rofl. If edmunds can get a car to 13.4 then there probly is a lot left in it. and they trap just the same as a ls1 basically.

so why dont they run neck and neck? dont be hard headed.


just Read Motor Trend ran theirs 13.3 sec @ 105.7 mph ( that is very competitive with an Ls1)

 

The HR 350z's (08 and newer) pretty much (might be mistaken) run neck and neck with LS1's from a roll (typical low 13 car with a good driver).

Some think the 370z might be able to dip into the 12's stock, with a good driver of course

 

he might run faster than you... not i.... just because a CAR is in the 10s... doesnt mean it isnt rice.. the owner can make it rice... in the hands of another driver, it could be a tuner..

i know what the cars run.... i wasnt banging my head for that reason... i was saying that beause you said you would trade you fbody for one...

they may be close in performance.. but are lacking in the appearance section drastically..

although i'll give alot more credit to the stangs, its real hard for me to respect the honda's and ricers.

i've seen a civic hatch with a rather large turbo, was a decently quick car cause it was stripped out. but this a-hole had drilled 4" holes in the front and rear bumper to help air flow. . .

i almost **** in my pants right there on the spot.
