Well last night I had to run by a buddies real quick to give him an old laptop. As I'm heading there, a Mazda 3 speed rolls by me. I heard it a little bit over my car, so I'm thinking it had exhaust. I change lanes and go around the car that was in front of me. As I pull up to him, he gooses it, but not enough because I was anticipating his move, and had it in 3rd around 50mph. I gave him a nice rev when I went by him. He then went around the car that was in front of him and got right on my ***. I kept it in 3rd around 70 waiting for him to fly around me. Finally saw his headlights shoot to the right, so I punched it. He stayed at my back bumper once I caught his momentum. Ran it all the way through 3rd, up to about 120 in 4th. To my surprise I only pulled him by about 1.5-2 car lengths. Now I'm a full bolt on car, and I'm well aware what a ms3 will run, but this car had to have some more under the hood. There is just no way a stockish, exhaustish ms3 could hang that well with me.

Good kill. I've posted some info on here about the Mazdaspeed 3. They react pretty well to bolt-ons. A local here had one when they first came out and I know with a few bolt-ons and some more boost, it trapped 111 on pump gas.

thx man. It def had to be properly well tuned and worked on. I should smash a stock one specialy from a roll. he wouldnt get beside me either, so im thinking he was pretty highly modded and was embarrased. Cuz after all, if it was stockish, why woudl he care
