Fox Trot
Fox Trot w/ video **short run video @ bottom**Some friends of mine took their fox mustangs down to the local 1/8th mile strip Sunday along with my 98 heads cam camaro (3 red muscle cars is just asking to get pulled). Just got my car back friday from getting 125 zex kit installed along with an adj. clutch master cyl. and a few other goodies.
We stop for lunch and one of the guys suggest we do a 30 roll to see where he's @. I oblige and wait for a good straight away. I downshift to 2nd and we actually hit it about 40 as I roll into it (on motor) with him so close to my bumper I can't see his headlights. I start to steadily walk away in 2nd, hit 3rd regular shifting and continue to trot away from the fox(maybe 4-5 cars). He's got afr heads, 650 lift cam, 3.73 gear..I think, and a small stall.
He has run an 8.1 and he and I both think there is more to be had in his car. I ran an 8.0 on motor as I couldn't seem to get out of the hole. My car was full weight and thensome so I'm hoping to see some mid 7's with traction on motor and maybe even some 6s on gas. Btw I have 5.3 heads a Futral F13 cam and 4.10s.

He has a 650 lift cam!?! And he only runs 8.1 with an automatic??? What the hell is his combination? And tell him to get some help from someone that knows what they are doing!
