Slapped down a S/C TA.
there is a member on ls1tech that goes by the screen name NA$TY TA. he has a TA with an ATI s/c, all the bolt-ons, cam, and suspension mods, MTI tuning, and runs mid 11s in the 1/4 mile. the race goes down like this. my buddy in the Z28 is at the local hangout listening to all the B.S Na$ty talking about his TA. Nasty explains on how easy it is to make ls1s fast(no doubt) and how fast his car is gonna be. everyone there is on his nuts about all the BS he is talking. somene then points out my friend z28 and asks Nasty to run him. so Nasty agrees thinking that it will be a waste of time and gas.
both cars drive to a stretch of road and heat the tires up. they line up and get the signal to go. my friend leaves the line like a bat outta hell then hits the switch to let the dope take effect. meanwhile NA$ty just realized he got treed and is 2 cars behind right from the start. now that the nitrous is pumping and the 2.73 gears are winding up, he puts another 1/2 car on NASTY.obviously there is no way he is gonna catch up to the z28 on the top. so needless to say, the z28 wins by 2 1/2 cars.
to top it off, crossing the finish, NASTY blows his engine. i guess he learned his lesson for telling me and my buddy to win we will need to bring more than a .22. so we busted out the .45

I would probably be very happy he f'd his launch and blew his motor ... this race could very easily have gone the other way.
