Procharged Fox
Tonight me and my cousin both had are car's out, and we decided to mess around again. Last time we did I pulled on him up top but his car was way out of tune and leaning out VERY bad.
His fox is T56 swapped, 4.11 gear,Cam(E or B cam he's told me and I forget),Edelbrock Intake, D1SC Procharger pushing 16-17 PSI, Headers. He's also on street tires.
Anyways we did a couple run's tonight just for fun,
First run, 40 punch:

I win due to his no traction
second run,60 punch:
(No Video)
He jumps out on me and slowly starts pulling until the top of 5th where I have RPM on him.
VERY Close race, next Spring when he's on tire were gonna run again....but I believe the BeaSSt is now in Hibernation for the winter

Yup stock Longblock besides the Cam. He has some Trickflows he had on the car before but that motor Grenaded. Hopefully we can re run with his new built motor and me on the spray.

Fortunately they have never hit that number. My brother and I learned that the hard way in the early 90's. That thing split down the middle like a damn egg. Expensive lesson. I also raced my LT1 TA against a ton of bottle fed foxes when I lived in Colorado they always were grenading engines from too much juice, these were big shot cars. Once the block is properly reinforced they can be nasty.

Except you can get the bastards for 150-200 bucks at a junkyard. A guy I knew would do this, strap a 200 shot on it and spray it til it blows. And when it did blow, he just went back to the junkyard and got another.

When I graduate I'm getting a notchback and doing some sort of 351W-based motor (393 or 408?)... looking for a 10/11s manual-transmission street/strip car. I'm thinking h/c/i and then maybe a 100 shot to spice it up?

I'm planning on a low 10 second 6 speed car N/A and then a 150-200 Zex plate shot.

Good kill! That fox is gonna be sick with some heads and a good tire! Any track or dyno numbers for your car yet?
