Default Damn converted LS1s!

Had two runs with my friend Seth this weekend. He goes by Seth on this board. (Imagine that.)

Cars:
Seth - 01 Forumula
Cut out, Lid, C1 cam, 9" PI 3200 converter, Nitto Drag radials, dyno tuning.

Me - 87 Regal T
Fuel pump, injectors, chip, adj wastegate, hooker catback, alcohol injection. Gay *** Pep Boys Futura tires.

Anyway, both runs were from a dead stop. Both races had the same results:
Light turns green, we both nail it, lots of tire spin in my lane, less in his, resulting in a nearly instant 1 1/2 - 2 car jump on me. We took it up to around 80mph both runs. He stayed about 2 cars out on me.
I wanted to go from a 35mph roll, but we never got the chance. I would blame it on the 300 pound passenger who was with me, but traction would probably have been worse without him.

I help Seth install his cam and springs in my driveway, and how does he repay me? Thanks a lot buddy! LOL!
J/K. Good runs. I was excited to see your car run so well. It sounded badass too!

Oh, the new cam probably had a lot to do with the loss. I read but did not think. Devil's in the details you know.

I didn't purchase the Futura tires. Believe it or not, they had just been put on the car when I purchased it 4 years ago. LOL! I have only put 8,000 miles on them.
