had a big (for me) money race last weekend. my 73 ls1 t56 single turbo Nova VS a old C10 5.3 single turbo truck.

he red lighted.... but i snapped my input shaft in half on launch and only rolled about 12 inches...enough to trip the beams.

on a heads up race like that what do u think should have been voted?

win to the truck?

neither. one loss for red light, one loss for mechanical failure. Respectable thing to do is call it a draw, and line up again at a later date
