I saw that last night. They put a 125 shot on a AWD Talon and it went 8.1 in the 1/8. That was a stupid show I think. Why don't they make a LS1 modding show?

i'm in winchester about 40 minutes from manassass should all get together some time. i'll be down there for the 6.0 heads up class all summer at old dominion. i don't like the track but the 6.0 class is fun.

 

If I was closer, I'd love to run ya... you'd kill me, but it'd be fun anyway. I don't have the cash either, though

 

aries a buddy of mine went to school in galveston or somewhere down there wherever the uti is. i know he mentioned galveston. maybe i can talk him in to riding down there with me to run you.

Going to the track tomarrow and expecting high 10's on the current motor.
New motor should do 10's without the nitrous.

 

sweet right now virtually untuned i've been 10.70's @ 125 on motor but there's a whole lot more in it. and i'm expecting at least 5.70's on the bottle in the 1/8. right now i have it so detuned it's not even funny because two of the local 1/8th mile tracks run a 6.0 heads up class. so i have it tuned to about 5.90's so i have some room to play catch if i get a bad light and some room to sandbag if i'm way out. i just enjoy the heads up class because bracket racing gets boring when you sit at the tree for 3 secs waiting on a mustang it feels like forever.

 

thats 5.70's on a 150 shot i could spray the guts out of it and go low 5's and the motor would take it but i don't want to take a chance.

 

Nice... what kind of motor you got in there? Im sure you have said this before, but I cant remember.

 

13.5 comp 468 bbc with merlin heads manley rods manley pistons. .700lift lunati solid roller teamg intake 1150 aed dominator and a few other things. plus the cars built to take it it's cert. to 7.50 ladderbar coilover rear suspension and a whole lot more.

the car has 8sec 1/4 potential but i just bought a 24' fully loaded enclosed trailer and a new truck to pull it so if a set it on kill i don't have the money right now to rebuild it.
