Just picked up my Red 2002 WS6 with 4147 on the clock, and had a long night of cruising. The first couple of hours were mostly ricers "racing" each other, a few LS1 guys just cruising. Well, went to hang out with some friends for awhile. Well, after hanging out for awhile, a good friend of mine wanted to go for a ride in it. This is when the fun began. 1:30 AM....cops all gone. I see a lowered S10 and rev at him to see if he bites. He does......gets the jump by a car or 2 and I start reeling him in. at about 90, I'm beginning to pass and he hits his brakes (I guess so i didnt "win"). when I slowed to chat with him he said in a dickheadly manner "samples are free, you gotta pay to get the whole thing." that REALLY pissed me off. So we go again, and he does the same thing. This time I ask what he had done.......he said it was stock....lol yeah right. Took me til the top of 3rd to start pulling. The last time we went, I pulled up to the light first and i hear a very distinct PSSSST, PSSSST. I rolled down my window smiling. He was actually cool about it this time. We went from the line, I launched good and just walked away. Slowed down cause my exit was coming up, his friend told me my car pulled really good and we went our separate ways. On my way home a 95-ish Integra pulled up next to me and started revving. My friend laughed at him. I guess he didn't like this cause he "took off". I downshifted to 3rd and played with him. I hit the throttle and ease up to let him catch up. I did this 5 or 6 times until I actually had to shift to 4th, then I just left him. After a few seconds of him staring at my taillights, I slowed back to speed limit, and I bet you'll never guess what happened next. Yep, a ricer fly-by. With a big middle-finger out of his sunroof. What a dumdum. Its not like I picked on him lol. He revved AT ME!!!!
I am just really glad I finally got the car Ive wanted since 98.
BTW....soon to come.....Lid, Filter, Jethot Headers, Jethot LT's with removable cats, cutout, cam, and stock heads ported and polished. Im gonna have some fun!!!!!
