And guys like you with full suspension, 4.10's, boss intake, shifting into 5th gear in the 1/4 mile, etc think you are king of the streets. A race is a race, anything can happen.

Ford . I heard that you didn't do much better in Houston when you claimed that you would run faster times than you ended up running.

I must be mistaken for you car running 11.8's with those mods. I thought you said you were coming to Houston at one point. So, I'm sorry, I must have the same color car from SAR confused.

Never thought of going to Houston to run. SAR is far enough for a trip to turn around an come home.

I ran 11.8s with these mods about a 3 weeks ago at SAR. Actual run was 11.80@117 followed by 11.86@118 both with 1.58 60fts with da of 2700. Ran a couple 11.9-12.1 same night with DA of 3000+ but worse 60ft 1.6-1.8

Before that I ran 11.8@106 with cold air, tune, gears, O/R x pipe in Jan this year. With a lot better air. But then I got everything in sync lost the tranny and Ford replaced it with the TSB for the clutch.

Good deal. BTW, your so called claim of 5-5.0 cars of #8 going out is a few hundred cars off, just according to Ford. Just got a report from a close friend that is a local head sales manager tonight in Texas. I'd stop posting that it is 5 cars if I were you.

Hit me up if you come to town. I'll buy you a beer after I put a 145+mph trap speed on you.

I have yet to see official numbers. Just what few others have said they heard as well form friends from Ford. Few people think some are blowing out of proportion and what not. It is what it is. Its still completely unknown what is causing the issue. But it mainly points to bad tunes. I haven't heard of a stock one doing it yet. Have you?

I have a trip to Houston planned when I get back. Have to meet up with few people. Freaking GM owners at that..HAHA. One with a certain G8 that will hand me my *** right now..LOL. And he is N/A...

5th gear on the 2011 Mustang is the same as 4th gear on most transmissions; 1:1.

Just saying...

I don't shift into 5th no more. With a red line of 7800rpms I don;t need to. Now with better weather some think I will have to.

I could see you maybe beating it from a dig because they spin but theres no way your hanging from a 50 roll on a stock converter

If the gt500 is scared to drive his car and is in the wrong gear it could easily happen. With a good driver it isnt happening. which it obviously was not. Anything can happen on the street.

The GT500 driver probably didn't even bother down shifting and instead just floored it in 6th and kept up with the OP lol.

and this car was on stock rubber and was indeed a shitty driver . the roll race i had my car in second we went from about fifty to maybe 80 he would have pulled more and more the longer we raced . I knew a dig was the only way it would even be fun. Its just alot easier to launch an a4 with decent tires then a 500 hp car with stock tires. and i dont think bolt ons is enough but in this case it was enought to beat this car.
I have actually seen that same car and the yellow saleen next to it run at CFRC. they both ran mid 9's (1/8th mile). I was not impressed as my car stock, with sliping auto ran consistent 8.70's

I'm not buying it, I had a new gt500 put 2-3 cars on me from a 40 roll...and I've yet to run a LS1 with bolt ons that is able keep up with me from a roll.

Just watched the video and my conclusion is that gt500 is slow as ****. Didn't you see the stock civic beat it...if you can't beat an Honda you won't be a LS1!

REALLY

A turbo is not a bolt on no matter what. I don't care if you are upgrading a turbo on a Evo.

A Kenne Bell or a Whipple is a bolt on; on a 03 + Cobra/GT500.

It is the same as a intake swap as far as changing one out.
