who wins this race...........
4L80E...3200 stall...shifting at 6,200-6,500rpm
I was given this, I do not want to shift to OD while racing. So I figured 3:08's up to 160 mph would do it for me.
......1st/2nd/3rd
3.73=45/86/139
3.23=53/99/161
3.08=55/104/169
2.73=62/117/190
.
What info do you need to find the best gears for me.

Trying to bench race a setup you don't even have in your car yet??? Come on man, you should know better then that. Also with the lame guessing on your part about rwhp numbers that you are gonna have when it's not even running yet.
The only way you are gonna get a 4L80E stalled auto with a 440 LSx to pull 590rwhp is running a MASSIVE solid roller cam and spinning it up to 7,600+rpms. That's assuming you have some seriously badass heads too. A cam that only spins to 6,200-6,500rpms? Figure on more like 500rwhp.
As far as gearing goes, I'd recommend doing the math based on tire diameter, Drive or Over Drive gearing and then deciding what works best. Use one of millions of online calculators.

I'll be using one of two sets of heads...MAST cathedrals that a member here uses and makes 671 RWHP with his 468ci at 11.2:1 cr on 93 octane M6. Or Mamo ported AFR 245's. Both will get the job done. Sheet metal intake or possibly the same Jenvey ITB that the above 468ci has. It WILL make 600 RWHP. I need to make about 100 RWHP more than my old *** 2002 427ci....with hilarious LS1 heads, stock TB and LS6 intake to hit my goal.......it'll happen. The engine builder I'm using makes power........
So....back to the important part......gearing for 50-160mph pulls.

YES......nothing else. It'll never see a drag track, ever. Its a fun car to do just that...have fun. It'll be a second car to drive when I can. All I like to do is occasionally roll race and hard accelerations getting on highways and on open highways by myself.
So low end grunt can be given up here for better medium - high end performance. SINCE....a ~600 RWHP car will never have low-end grunt issues no matter I do to the gearing, it'll still roast the tires....only so much you can do on street radials...... LOL I'm not into racing people at lights on city streets....open highways with no cars around is all I mess with. A street racing ticket to me would literally be disastrous to my career, just one......not going to happen. I drive like my grandmother on city streets, no dicking around, period.
