235 is stock with 345 for torque. and pulled on a LS1 SS? Yeah right.

Tell him he's going to need a little more than a runner change to beat a LS1.

 

For whatever reason, I can't get that page to load up. The thing about L98's is they are torque monsters. I have a friend with an 89 IROC with a heads/cam/intake 355 that ran high 12's untuned and dyno'd shy of 300 rwhp, but had OVER 400ft.lbs at the wheels. They are quick, but they run out of steam up top.

Buddy's recently built L98 in his IROC mad elike 275 horse and damn near 400lbs of torque, gotta love TPI torque

 

He lives in my neck of the woods. He traps around 102mph average from what I can see.

yeah,the fastest l98 i've seen ran mid-14s stock,not really ls1 territory
