Revenge for Footlead!!! It wasn't an SRT8 Challenger, but it was an RT with exhaust and CAI. I was cruising into Cancun, Mexico AND i see him hauling @ss in my rear view mirror. I'm still set at about 50mph. He pulls beside me looks at the front fender, i'm assuming to look for the Z06 badge. He didn't see it and started smiling. I heard him down shift, and he gunned it wehn he was already about a car up on me. He started pulling, I said WTH, gave her WOT and I think i literally yanked this guy out of his car, lol. I let off at about 110 and the guy was literally about 4-5 cars back.
He did fly by and wouldnt even look at me. Dude cut me off and kept going. I'm assuming his mods because the exhaust was loud as hell, polished tips, and he had K&N decal on his rear window.
Now I know my basically stock C5 is no mobile mauler, but does this sound about right? Mods are below...

Even if he did not see that ZO6 badging, I still don't think that should have gave him much more confidence.

Thanks for the Revenge The R/T is not close to the new version with the 6.4 SRT8 but Good Kill. I have had my car at the track many times and raced in a class with many other Gen5 Camaros and Mustangs and Vettes and Mopars but it is a True street car Street tire class and the only ones that I have seen run in the 11s had turbos and that is if they do not blow the tires off it.....mainly because the guys running built cars run drag radials or slicks because its hard to Hook-Up big power and Convertors on a true street tire street car. I have seen many c5s and z06s run high 12s to mid 12s on street tires then put drag radials on it and run in the 11s easy. One mistake on the line with that standard and you have lost lots of et thats why most of them run the sticky tire class. I am trying to run a high 11 on street tires. Convertor is next but how you gonna hook it up on street tires??? Lots of suspension work helps but this is a 02 LE SS grocery getter not a rattling creaking race car. Good Kill!!!
good kill, ya that weight advantage is key. And how is the weather in cancun lol ? Ive never raced a challenger before, hopefully i can do as well as you did in either of my "SS's" , and man when are you going to do that forged 408 and quit bsing lol
