You do have to admit one thing, that 4.6 probably sounded better than your T/A.

As slow as those Mustangs were they sounded NICE!

Well I did beat a 2011 5.0...twice. Here's the video to prove it.

Now, he also beat me twice...

And I'm not in denial of the new 5.0's. I think they are amazing motors, capable of amazing things. Fastest one stock hit a 12.2 if I'm not mistaken, compared to the fastest LS1 with a 12.8 I think. No, I have nothing but respect for the new 5.0's. They crush the LS1, and unfortunately they also crush the LS3.

But let's face it, the LS3 is still a pushrod motor, cheaper to modify, easier to work on.
