I bet I have more in my inbox of people asking for car advice over some of the preachers in here. some of us **** talkers do help people off to the side.

We don't want to know that you "help people off" to the side .

Now since I am quite sure that you are assuming that I was talking about YOU not helping anyone, I'll go ahead and assume that you are talking about me and my "preaching" lol. I don't want to mess up Jay's thread, but I detect that you are actually trying to defend your ways on here. Nay nay! This apple didn't just fall out of a turnip tree yesterday.

I can't argue with what's in your inbox (which is why you mentioned it), and even if tons of people have in fact asked you for help, it doesn't mean you answer any of them, does it? Also it doesn't justify your **** poking and ingnorant posts in so many otherwise decent threads.

I know you think you are hilarious, but what's the big secret man? Why not help people in the public threads too (as opposed to what your post count implies ) and not just in your "inbox" lol.

Imho, you don't seem very helpful from what I've read, and I've read a lot on here! Hell it almost seems that nearly everytime you're asked a question you respond with some sarcastic bs that only helps your ego, and no one else. Sorry but there's no mystery to Stopsign32v, so let's be real about that .

Not picking on you by the way, but you really need to be told and are the best/worst example of a resident troll that I can think of. That's why this was brought up in this thread in the first place. I could pm you if you like, but I really wouldn't want to be "helped off" to the side

*Ahem, end sermon.

edit: Tell you what, why don't we just leave this thread alone and take it over to Oda's thread? Both of us know we can be civil, and it's just for point of reference. I'm sure you could share some of your opinions over there publicly too! Or would you rather continue with the one liners that trolls usually resort to?

I think at one point you had the "blunt" end of the stick... And then shortly after swapped several PMs back and forth about straightening your setup out!

SRK is SRK... Nothing that happens in here rolls over to technical based forums. I didn't get X,XXX posts by just hanging out in here! And I'm surely not going to turn down helping a member because of some interwebz comment. It is the internet, and SRK at that, thick skin goes a LONG way.

Agreed and agreed .

Yes you indeed helped me iron out some issues with my setup (and part selection) and you were a great help with that . Even though you were a d***head at first jk. lol .

Pm'ing is certainly one way (a very important one) to help other members out. But for the most part, those who generate assistance via Pm'ing, are also likely to provide help through posting in the public threads, in the tech sections for instance. Your post count clearly indicates that you are a contributing member to the tech section, and not just here to poke **** in SR&K (since SR&K posts obviously are not counted). If that is what one wants to do is to hang out in SR&K great! But then that person shoudn't turn around and expect that others will endlessly listen/read ignorant/arrogant posts and not reply or ask questions about them.

I hear you about not taking comments on the internet too seriously. I for one don't take anything too personally or seriously on here, but I also don't mind speaking my mind when I feel it is warranted.

It felt like a pretty safe assumption, all things considered. Guess you weren't though so

Exactly. Don't judge a book by its cover... Same goes here. Don't look at a cats paws from 3 FT away and just give it a glance. It might have been converted to a lions paw.

Yup a few come to mind actually. Don't judge a book by it's cover, looks can be deceiving, and the truth always f***'ing hurts .

I seldom judge a book by it's cover, and always do my research before submitting a book report . Lol, layers upon layers of irony right? Hmmm, maybe.
