I just tried to get a C6Z to play but I think the BOV scared him. He just looked over and waived me off. Shaking his head and hand with a big smile. Either he had more then it sounded or knew I had more.

It always seems too me the quite people are some times the fastest. Up at a car cruze they raced on the way out of town they had a ford falcon and a 850rwhp nova line up. The ford falcon guy was like 70 and he was quite i said he had a nice car he nooded. Well once they lined the ford falcon almost grinded his bumper and he was gone. So sometimes the drivers that dont ever say anything are fast.

Good kill on the tupperware. Let us know when you get real dyno numbers instead of these guesses.

Just a little advice on running boosted on stock motor...don't get greedy with the power. I don't know how Mustang engines are put together, but most NA motors don't come with forged pistons, a good compression ratio, rings, etc. for a boosted application. My LS3 has been boosted for a while and is still running, but I have meth injection and a very competent shop that does my work. I already have an ERL 427 made for boost waiting to go in because I know my stock engine will have to give someday...the stocker is good but everything has it's limit. Running a boosted set up gets expensive quickly if set up right (built engine, trans, traction).
Enjoy the new power, but don't get greedy chasing dyno numbers.

Ya I know. I am not worried about Dyno numbers as much as keeping it safe. The magic number seems to be 650-700whp safely on the new 5.0 engines. After that and your playing with fire. It all comes down to the tune. I already have funds ready to buy a new forged short block if something goes wrong. If It does I will be dropping compression down to 9.5:1 and then drop from the 3.3 pulley to least a 2.9 to up the boost.

Damn Ohio, couldn't wait to boost it huh!Very nice indeed! If your'e gonna be one of the few to have a 5.0 on this site might as well be a bad *** one!I'm curious why you chose a centrifugal over a kb or something similar, not that it matters to me.Any benefits like less heat soak or something?

The Centri cars are just running faster. Making more power. Really that simple.

Good kill, Ohioborn. Been a while since I have been on. Next time you come to Houston, hit me up for a "fun" run. I have a black C6 with "a little rumble" too that we still haven't run.

Sounds like your car has been progressing very nicely. Congrats on the kill!

No times with the sc yet. I been home in the states a week and some change. And just got the email tune pretty spot on. Waiting on my tuner to get back to dyno tune it. Also get some final numbers.
