Well I went to FMP yesterday for some heads up grudge races. Before you say it all runs were N/T and the winner was whoever got the lights in his lane. I will say up front that the music in the background is what was playing near the stands where my boy was video taping from so it was out of anyones control.
Overall there were some good races had. I lost 2 runs to Heater's black N/A Foxbody and won a nice little grudge run with a C6 ZO6 that had a minimum of a cam and exhaust maybe more. There was no telling because I was too busy changing my tires over to drive home then to find him afterwards and chat. There were some big boys out there too running for the stock block 302 with one kit class and 4/5/6 speed Shootout. Payouts were a grand $$ to the winners. If you weren't trapping 135mph or higher you had little to no business out there. My Cobra traps 128-130mph for reference on how fast some of these cars were. It was definitely fun to see some of the big grudge matches happening too!!!

Damn! That Z06 was coming on, on the big end
Thanks to your son for getting video. It's easy to see why my 60 ft.s were so bad; it was spinning too much on the launch to even get the wheels up.
Tell your son he just might be our new official camera man

Packy believe i talked to you earlier that day while you were working on your car. Car looked good. I was there with my buddies in the blue 5.0, grey termi in the shootout, and the z06 you ran.

That sounds about right because I ran an 11.3@128 with a 1.84 sixty foot. I had a bad launch on that pass. That is a beautiful ZO6!
