But cops do what ever the **** they want. Down here they are NOT allowed to chase ATV riders or Bikers who flee, You know how many of my friends who have banshee's and atv's who ride on the street have gotten chased by cops and cops deliberately try to run them over/ knock them down at like 70+mph. IMO miami dade police are probably the most dirty/crooked cops ive ever seen, and i have tons of facts to up my claim.

Here's a story for you from about a month ago. I went to the local convenience store to grab a drink. There's no helmet law in RI, but i almost always wear one. I was going about 200ft on a 20mph road so i skipped the helmet and couldn't find my sunglasses. I was in flip flops, shorts and a T-shirt. Ride the 30 seconds to the store, walk in, grab my drink, standing in line when 2 cruisers pull up behind my bike.

******* awesome.

Walking to my bike, and the cop (already having run my tag) calls me by name and motions me over. Where did you think i was going ********? I'm obviously walking right towards you. Anyway, he proceeds to give be bullshit about not wearing glasses. I point to my house, and tell him i live at X address, and didn't worry about glasses to go that distance on at 20mph.

Then he proceeds to question me (while being argumentative and condescending, I've been nothing but calm and polite) about why my address doesn't match my license. Because it's not a permanent address. They the exhaust and turn signals are illegal. Seriously?

Eventually after 15 minutes of lecturing in a cocky and arrogant manner, they let me go with a few warnings.

2 Cruisers, all this bullshit over glasses. **** off, i'll out run you next time.
I agree that cops harassed people about equipment laws and other petty stuff. This happens to car guys to, its the nature of us trying to push the limits of what we can get away with on the streets. Other times I think they are seriously just really bored.

But around here in my smallish town. The sport bikers deserve every bit of the bad rap they get. Mind you, like you said ******* policemen have contributed to it just as much as immature riders. But every time you see a jack *** riding wheelies or speeding in crowded areas and zig zagging traffic is not because of this never ending cycle between sport bikers and policemen to one up each other.

Bike always loses. A pit maneuver is the exact same thing as me kidnapping a cop and throwing him out of a moving pickup truck in the middle of traffic on a busy road and then saying it's his fault because he's a douche who wrote me a ticket that I didn't deserve. Point is, if a bike is running from the police he is mainly and almost only endangering his own life and not the others on the road. The cop chasing him, however, is endangering everyone on the road with his 4400lb cruiser. Get the bikes plate number and let them go. If it is a violent criminal at the handlebars, then take them out immediately and don't dick around.

Bike riders purposefully hide there license plates from view, angle them so auto scanners can't make them out, use illumination that is so dim that plate can't be read, etc. to keep cops from seeing there plate. I'm talking 75% of all riders do that **** because it's "cool" and makes the lines of the bike flow better visually. Cops should really enforce license plate rules on every single bike. who gives a crap if the blinkers are only 6" apart and not 18" apart like stock. Things are so friggin small anyways that a car either is gonna see them or not, irregardless of how close they are together. Same with mirrors, too. things are worthless anyways so not a biggy if they don't have them on. Too small a rear fender? So friggin what, I don't ride in the rain.

Cops got a crappy job when it comes to sport bikes: even when they don't run from cops on purpose, it is usually hard for there slow *** cars to catch up to a sport bike that is moving along at a decent clip in traffic. Cops pride dictates them to not make a effort to catch a speeding bike if the chance exists that the bike will embarrass them if he runs. I think that is a huge part of the issue with cops and bikes: cops can't stand the idea that someone is laughing at them. They inevitably are overly sensitive and think everyone is just waiting for a chance to laugh at them again, just like in school....

still trying to figure out what the camera bike is, the second bike that followed was an R6 and the way he got left behind leads me to think the camera bike is either a 750 or a 1K but I dont think a 750 can leave a 600 that bad lol

Not sure but it's a stunt bike.

It looks naked and he goes through the gears but doesn't seem to be moving THAT fast. I think the distance on the R6 was because he left sooner.

You've never been to Miami as I can see...police here do whatever they want. Most are good cops ,but some are just off the chain. There's a cop here that robbed a bank for 2k and only got 6months probation. Another story was a trooper that knocked off a couple at around 150+mph and they got severely fucked up. This **** is crazy. Again most are great cops.

I had an uncle that lived the fast life for awhile. He's dead now, but during that time he was arrested for a lot of things in a lot of places.

Now, he was always honest when it came to admitting things he was arrested for...and he was arrested for a few things no one would want to admit to, but he never denied any of it.

He was dealing coke in Miami for a bit, and the cops knew it.

They arrested him on the street and he swore up and down for the rest of his life that he had nothing on him at the time of arrest, so the cops just planted it and charged him anyway.

He admitted (to us) that he was guilty of dealing, but always swore that the arrest was bullshit.

He served 3 years based on that arrest.

Bro i know! The cops here are so crooked its not even funny check out this story. A coupe of friends of mine went down to south beach to go longboarding down garages. Anyways, they hit up a couple of garages and ended up at some outside burger shack or something they were just resting and grabbing something to eat, all of the sudden some lady threw like a bag of weed under my friends legs (he was standing) and asks him "Hey i think you dropped something (pointed at the bag)". My friends like "WTF? That aint mine, what are you tryna pull?" The lady picked up the baggy and continued down the street trying to **** people over who actually picked up the baggy.
Cops here don't play.

Dude he got like a short time suspension without pay. Forgot about the other guy who was ALSO drunk and crashed his cruiser into a tree. I think one of them got fired but believe me when i say they do what they want. Ive heard storys of my buddy who used to ride around at night just eating **** found a group of cops around his house smoking weed like behind a small shopping center at like 3am.

There is one officer in my town that had a reputation for being extremely crooked with a reputation for planting things on people. Unfortunately in those situations we will never know the truth.

In this guys case though it finally got to the point that the gang members on the north side of town actually jumped this officer and beat him nearly to death. He transferred to another city shortly there after.

LMAO if I rolled up on a group of cops toking a blunt behind a shopping mall I don't know what I would think.

Its ridiculous man, sorta makes them cool in CERTAIN situations, I had a cop pull me over and let me go cause his best friends a graffiti writer and my arrest history came up and asked me why all the vandalism and i told him and we were talking about graffiti and stuff he was really cool and let me go, he was telling me how some nights when hes on duty they would go out get blasted and he would get his back while he wrote up on **** lol.

But most of the time they think they're too cool or above you so they just do what they want since they've gotten away with so much.

I mean Cops are people too, im sure 80% of police down here smoke. But to do it on duty is a disrespect and just shows you the type of "I can do anything and get away with it" mentality they have. I mean getting **** drunk and passing out in your cruiser on duty, lol come on man. It just proves my point even more.
