Truth, but aero would be negatively affected. Hoods are damn expensive for these cars, like $1000 or more.

Yeah I was lucky I didn't get t-boned. I actually immediately got out of the car and started yelling at her lmao I was so pissed.

 

Hang tight on broken hood until the headers come in. Can't do that?

 

haha I feel you man, Yeah I hate seeing stupid drivers do stupid/illegal things. And when a sweet car gets nailed because of it, I probably would have gotten put in the back of the police car.

Too much time and money go into car enthusiast rides for it to be totalled by some idiot texting on their phone etc. I don't even want to drive it sometimes. lol

 

I had a huge tree fall on my garage with my old Camaro in it. It was a 97 Vert with 100k on it & the insurance paid $4200 to have it fixed (I only paid $4300 for it when I bought it), so there is hope for it not getting totaled out. Good luck!

I drive a 03 2500HD ECSB Silverado LT w/ 68k on it. You'd be surprised how bad drivers are in a college town and how douchey some kids are.

I just got **** tonight by two drunk dudes at a gas station talking **** about me having a hard time parking because some *** hole was in the middle of an exit and make me squeeze by him. The whole, "Nice truck, sorry about your *****" routine as I was trying to correct a shitty parking job. Then they proceeded to attempt to hit on my girl as she walked back to my truck from Fighting Burrito.

Walk out and one kid was on my hood. Threw him to the ground and proceeded to jump in my truck and drive off. This was earlier when I was sober lol not worth fighting drunk kids

 

That blows to say the very least... But the damage appears minimal which is good to see

 

I know the damage doesn't look like much, but a new hood is going to be a lottttt of money. Plus a new front bumper cover, new side directional, and a few other small things that cracked on the inside. And then they have to paint it all. It could cost a few thousand I think :/

My Bonneville was hit by a women texting and driving this past summer.

My insurance assessor hooked me up and made sure my car wasn't totaled out. Go to a shop and make sure the bill is less than the total "value" of your car.

It sucks, and I know firsthand how much being young (I'm 21) and having some idiot hurt your car sucks.

I also was shouting when I got outta the car.
