haha awesome story man. Look forward to getting some more runs in with you at some point. Is the trans done? Or were you just saying "**** it" for this race and cranked it to 14lbs? I am trying to arrange a visit to the pike this saturday for a few rematches/new races with people.

In my town there's a kid who owns an 03 Cobra. He posts pictures of the car on his facebook page, taking up 2 spots at work (best buy, he "advises" people when they want a TV), hood popped, burnout trails, etc... He constantly is posting about how nothing is on his level. I've been trying to lock up a race with this fool for over a year, he WILL NOT race me.
Well his luck ran out today. I saw him driving and we happened to be going the same way. I was alone but he had a girl in his car. It wasn't his girlfriend (he doesnt have one), rather someone with whom we are mutual friends (she's more my friend than his) and he had her out trying to impress her. We caught a light and I started talking to her. Here's the conversation.
Me: Hey why are you riding around in that slow *** turd when you could be in something that's actually fast, like my car?
Girl: Haha! He's buying me ice cream!
Me: Well at least thats more exciting than his Cobra.
Him: Hey **** you!
Me: I'm having a conversation with the lady, not slow car driving dudebros.
Him: I've had enough of your ****, follow me to the highway so I can shut your ******* mouth once and for all!!!
Me: Sounds good!
Me to the girl: I'm sorry about your current situation.
Her: *uncomfortable laugh*
I guess to get a race with these types, you have to emasculate them in front of a female.
So we drive to the highway which was only like 3 minutes away and we line it up from 50mph. I have an electric cutout now and an electronic boost controller. I turned the boost to 14 and opened the cutout, I wanted to make sure I was going to win. He looked like he about shat himself as I started to brake boost.
I honk it off and nail it. Immediately I'm out 1-2 car lengths. I hear him bobble a little going into 3rd (big surprise he doesn't know how to work the stick) and my lead starts growing.
Brought it up to around 130 for good measure, looked back and he was quite a ways behind me.
I was feeling pretty good as his car has intake, catback, pulley, and a tune. I think he made like 445whp.
But this is where the story gets really good.
I turn off the highway at the next exit and make my way left to U-turn to get back on and go home the other way. He comes bombing off the exit behind me and turns right into a parking lot. As I'm driving away I see the girl get out of his car. Not 2 seconds later my phone rings, it's her. She was crying, saying he was flipping the **** out and she didn't feel safe being in his car anymore. She wanted me to come get her.
So I turn around up the road and get back to the parking lot to pick her up. He's gone but he left 2 fat tire strips in the lot on his way out. She gets in my car and is visibly shaken up. She said he was screaming, swearing, driving recklessly, and was yelling at her because she laughed at him for losing.
I don't think my ride today could have been any more interesting.

I friend requested him last night and found this morning that he had blocked me.
I won't be around on Saturday, but I might be going to a dyno on Sunday.
Still on the stock trans and will be until it blows up.
Mods on my car?
Essentially just a turbo on moderate to low boost levels.
