First Track Trip
First Track Trip Just got an 01' Z. Wen't down to Sumerduck 1/8th and my best time was 9.1 ??? Now i have a Service light on b/c i have bad knock sensors from water, and loose Lower Control Arm (LCA). Plugs haven't been changed since new and has 90,000 on it. Is this expected??? PLS HELP

naw, 9.1 is about right, give or take, for a bone stock ls1 with a bit of mileage on it and a so/so driver (what do YOU think of your skills?). i pulled two 8.9s and a 9.1 on two 13.7s and a 13.8 run, respectivly, last time i went to the track.
i'd still replace those plugs tho. platinum plugs last for 100k or so at best, assuming nothing goes wrong.
