Is the 2010 Camaro V6 really this fast? Read thread.
A few fridays ago, I was on the highway after a 11 hour day at work at like 4 in the am. I look over to the right and I see a 2010 Camaro merging onto the highway doing like 100( I was doing like 85). I was in the mood to play around, So I go right behind him in his lane and I went full throttle, he slammed on the brakes and I flew past him (I guess he wanted to make sure I wasn't a cop). At this point there was no traffic for miles ahead of us. I was like 300 feet in front of him, I'm still going full throttle approaching 110 Mph, I look in the mirror and I noticed he was catching me VERY fast. So I got caught between 2 semi trucks and at this point he's right on my bumper, I got around the truck like 6 or 7 seconds before he did, once I looked in the mirror and noticed him overtaking the semi, I stomped it, I didn't give him a chance to get even. I swear like 3 seconds later this guy flew past me like I was doing 55 and I was really doing like 115!!!! I know it wasn't a ss, I don't think. It had the 20 inch chrome wheels though. Have anyone of you had a run in with a 2010 3.6 Camaro?
They twin turbo the v6 cars. They can go pretty good then.
btw.....I think upper 90s is pretty good for a v6 car. Took furd till 2011 to get past that by much with anything n/a. Just to put it in perspective.

It was probably all a joke... that said, I've heard a "V6" Camaro is eligible for an engine swap and you MIGHT even be able to wedge an LS7 in there... Might be tough, but I think it's doable...
You could surely add a turbo, etc. to the V6 (or swapped 8).
Finally, an SS could easily be mistaken for a non SS @ 4am.

They are slower than the 3.7 Mustangs though.

That's what I was thinking. My car is said to have about 242 at the crank vs the 304 for the 2010 and like 323 for a 2011+ V6 (assuming it was a V6). Most buy the V6, that's why I assumed.
