Damn! Did everyone who bought a Hellcat make pact to all go out street racing on the same exact night to get videos on YouTube? Lol cause Islander sure has found a **** ton of Hellcats street racing but when I looked it up a week or so ago, there was not a single video out there of one lol.

 

uhhhh. i'm a hellcat fan and i wouldn't say they are putting 640 down. saw with my own eyes only putting 584(?) uncorrected and a 563 corrected down on the few pulls made at tune time other night.. there's videos (which i took with owner's phone) probably be up after new years..

The car is very nice. inside and out.. and the blower was as cool to the touch as the night air after owner drove it in after a 45 minute trip.

In the trunk it has 2 10" harmon kardon subs in a box lol it really is very nice.. heated steering wheel, AC seats? the touch screen has all kinds of things to play with including limiting the output to 500hp (if you had the red key and wanted to limit anyway)

the dyno used during the hellcat run i referenced above is a load bearing (Eddy brake)AWD mustang Dyno just in case the RWHP numbers were sending anyone into a tizzy.. they inherently read lower as they are a much more effective tool in gauging rwhp/tq. they are more sophisticated than the run of the mill dynojet, dyno packs etc dynos..

When has hellcat been proven faster? Gt500 went 10.8 as well on DR. But also trapped higher.



Also so far C7Z seems like a bust...vipers killing all right now.

 

It would definitely be a close race from a "roll". Highest trap I've Seen from both is 126. Give it more time I'm sure you will see some better passes out of the Dodge. I would rather have the lighter Shelby but both cars are pretty cool

 

Camaro has been a 10.60 in the 1/4 last year. Could be faster now
