Sad, but true. I made the comment a couple of years ago that a C5 will end up being the new Foxbody for our area. I was right.

Lol...a4 ftw

I broke my gears before and shoved my 3.42s back in the car a long time ago......my god it was log legged. Run about 60 in 1st gear with a rev limit @ 7k. ****** thing would flat haul the mail top end putting 3rd at near 120 .

Unfortunately Foxbodys are getting too damn expensive. I love 'em, but they're cheap p.o.s. built cars that are not worth what some people think they are IMO. Don't get me wrong, just like any car, there are some prime examples which have been worked on with reliability and quality built into the car, that I can see being worth more than the typical unit.

After stuffing 500hp under the hood, I actually liked the 3.42s and looong gearing with the M6. Would run 122 hitting the rev limiter at 7k in 3rd just at the time I hit the 1/4 traps. But yeah, I still would've preferred 3.73s or 3.90s even for 100% street driving, not 4.10s though.

They are grossly over priced. I see bolt on ragged ones going for ten grand. Weird because 10 years ago they were everywhere. Now you don't see them on the street anymore. I never thought they would be worth anything.

Why the hell would one spend all the money on a cam setup and keep one of the worst intakes ever on the car? All this bickering is retarded as hell for both sides. Car would probably pick up 30+rwhp from swapping to a $250 LS6 intake. That polluter video sounded like a giant lazy turd to me.

I'd rather have the Cobro than the turd *** C5 in the video.

What you fail to realize is my dedicated street car has not so dedicated a race car as you think. Last pullie cobro I thrashed I was carrying a 200lb passenger. Ones before that the car had almost no wr. What you gonna cry about next snake?
200lb passenger in your race car still leaves you 400lb lighter than stock.

Actually not....car was probably 100lb heavier then. netting me 100lb off stock since it's only 400lb~ less than stock now.

So much misinformation from you.

Termi had a sra swap too so our weights were probably close. How's that make ya feel?

My point is your car has a completely different drivetrain in it. Motor, FP tranny, Ford rear, holes galore.

Like I said. Race cars =/= street cars.

Completly different drivtrain????? How so? It had the 10bolt in it then. the t56 came in it so that's was just a syncro change....and the ls6 is just a bolt-on engine. That's what chaps that ***.

What about the cobro I ran? Different drivtrain there to simce he had sra......doh. Don't that lose like 150lb~ on those cars...... Cobro had the forbidden wr!!! double doh

Come on snake cry some more. Are some whiny bitch like 2003cobro that can't do a thing unless you buy it off the shelf and comes with directions?

So you did or did not pull the LS1 out and swap in a different motor?

Ouch.

It's crazy how radical the changes are that need to be made for your Camaro to beat some simple modded Mustangs.

He likely got tired of getting pooped on. Had to motor and trans swap and then turn it in to Catfish shaped swiss cheese to feel better.
