Raced a '99 TA

Raced a '99 TA Let me start first by saying this was my first race in a LONG time. And it felt good!!!!
As im coming home tonight i get this white TA that starts messing w/ me. He flies past me, then every time i start to cath up he guns it. WTF???
So we catch a red light... Look over at each other, and just know its on. Raised my rpms to about 1200, waiting for the green. Light changes and we're off! I get him off the line and kept pulling to about 70-75 when i shut down, w/ him waaayyy back.
We pull over and talk. He says to me WTF do have done to that thing to dust me like that? To which i say, its just 346 LS1 w/ a lid and LM, 3.23 rear end. He then goes on to tell me that he has a 455 in his TA w/a 3.73 rear end. I call BS and say pop your hood. Which he wouldnt. He still had the stock exhaust for ***** sake!
I always wondered how i'd do against another LS1. Now i know, even though i KNOW the guy was stock. I dont know why he said he had a 455, that just made him look worse.
We then proceed to do some side by side burnouts, setting a side street up in smoke. Say our see ya laters, and go off on our seperate ways. Overall it was fun.
My mods- TSP lid, SLP cai, descreened maf, Bassani y, LM, and slight adjustments w/ my shift points and rev limit w/ a HPP3.

You should'nt have walked a stock LS1 by that much though based on your mods.
I was just hoping to run from a dig last nite. Didnt know at first he was an auto. I know ill get walked by a 6 speed from a roll.
