Pretty sure there's a 7.2 in the car if I wanted to get a little more ornery with the 10 bolt. That or grenade it lol
nice whats your current launch tactic as far as clutch release and rpm? quic aggressive slip or a little slower slip out of the hole and then full release as you lay in it

Around a 3500 quick release, but I don't lay into the throttle until I have good forward and upward movement. Hope that makes sense? The stock shocks don't transfer nearly as well as drag shocks. Kind of a balancing act

Shocks would be a waste on your car unless the stock ones are broken. All you need is a good tire and the right angles in the back lcas/torque arm and that car will dead hook and break the rear end shortly after. Nice job on the new PB

Good explanation.same kinda technique i use. Can you imagine how much a 2step and a real tire would help us both.

He's stock ride height . So his angles are probably good.

Btw nice job on your latest runs.

Thanks man!

Yea probably OK on LCAs, pinion angle would be the only adjustment needed if not already, along with a good tire.

You can hook a car with little weight transfer - stock shocks all around in this one - low 1.5 60 ft

The guy in the right lane is what Hammer would look like with a slick.. SNAP

Wow. Dude in the right lane busted the rear up pretty good. Just ironic that you're getting 1.5 60' while the guy in the next lane just broke the rear.

Yea he's living on the edge with a 10 bolt. My best 60" was a 1.70 with mine. Anytime i tried to get below that it woukd spit a axle out. He did a 1.68 so he's close to total destruction with his.....lol

do not forget hammer is running lightweight 4th gen miles per hour with ZERO weight reduction in 2500da.

kinda makes me want to get one and do everything that can be done to see if the power is there for 95+ full weight 1/8th mile.

remember folks mph doesn't lie.

you can gear, suspend, shift, and tire a car to better ET's, but you cannot add significant mph from optimizing ET.

It takes power to weight to add MPH.

I'm not full weight. No proper bolt on build is full weight by nature.

My two best for the day--- hit the rev limiter in 1st on the 7.4 run otherwise might have been a 7.3x as well

Actually hit the limiter twice in 1st, both times ran 7.4x but on one they marked me as car 40 for some reason. Finding out the factory tach is too slow in 1st gear
