Default Carrera Kill?

So I'm on my way home today along 495, and i notice that there is this dark blue porshe 911 a few cars back, driving pretty agressivly. I figure it'd be cool to race him, you guys know my taste for german, but there was so much goddamn traffic out i figured no chance. sure enough he gets trapped by a few slow drivers and i get way ahead of him. a few minutes later he comes whizzing by and i still think there's too much traffic to go get him, but he never gets THAT far ahead of me, and lo and behold he's taking the same exit i am (210).

well i manage to get behind him at the stoplight at the end of the offramp, and when the light turns green, i let off the brake ready to stomp the gas as soon as he does. bah he doesn't even take off at green! sleepin at the light, so i let off the gas to avoid hitting him.. when he decides it's time to play, and gives his car a bit of gas. i stay right with him. he lets off again, and i'm ready when he punches it. we clear the traffic in the right lane pretty quickly, and i swing over into that lane to get beside him, pass him, whatever, but he lets off around 70-75mph. i let off too, and less than half a second later he punches it again. he's about a car and a half up on me, has some extra momentum on me, and got the jump. well i smacked the throttle as well, amazingly avoiding a horrible dead spot (?!) around 70-75mph, and off we go. he's pulling ahead of me even more up on untill around 90-95, at which point i start pulling on him. I have to let off around 110-115 or so cause i'm coming up on traffic in my lane and i'm not about to kill anybody to prove a point. I got my nose roughly to his bumper, maybe his passenger door. i dunno for sure cause i was trying to bring the car down from about 115mph on a road where the speed limit is 45mph.

well he lets off once he sees i'm not in the race anymore, and we both slow down to reasonable speeds. at this point there is way way too much traffic, and there is going to be no more racing unless we're lucky enough to catch a light together (very very difficult on 210 in the evenings). i do pull up beside him, i look over... and get this. HE gives ME a thumbs up before i have a chance to do anything. hah. totally wasn't expecting that. so i give him one back, along with a grin. i skip my turn-off, and we attempt to try and catch the next two lights, but no deal. i go my way, he goes his.

wish i could have taken him from a dig, and wish i had had annother quarter of a mile or so to keep running him. however if wishes were horses, beggars would ride.

so... does that count as a kill or not? I was pulling on him at the end, i know i was, especially considering he had the move and a couple mph on me when he did it. however, i never actually got my car ahead of his. what do you guys think? call this one a draw?

btw, his exhaust smelled something strong. i thought at first i blew a belt or something cause it was so strong. i wonder if he was running rich, or if porshes at WOT just smell like that?
