I never get races in my wagon, and never would I ever have a passenger/gopro with me to film when I do. JELLY.

Guess I should just start daily sticking one on my quarter to drive to work lol

I get everyone frim 18-60 trying to race me. They see and hear a loud car, along with a sticker that reads "You Won't Race Me Doe" along my back windshield. So most of my races are provoked lol.

Wife is my co-pilot/filmer. So she's with me 95% and is pretty quick on the draw for filming I really need to get a go pro alon with my dash camera. Definitely would catch all of my races. Raced a 2005 M3 the other day I didn't get on film however. Got me by 2.5 on the dig and shitty 30 roll

Since Mavn is temporarily out of commission this might be my new favorite car in SRK. That thing has to hurt feelings. Bout died laughing at that 2V you raced a little while back.

It has pissed enough people off that I don't get many races from in towners. Latest ones have come from people visiting in town. No one wants to be the one that loses to a Hyundai

So true!
Those are the loses that hurt the most. A car that you expect to beat badly but then you find yourself getting beat or him hanging at your quarter panel.

What works for me is that I go into a race expecting to lose. If I win then I am content. If I lose, then I was expecting it and it does not sting as much. LOL.
It is all about staying humble and keeping the ego in check.

It's still hard to gauge where this car fits amongst the food chain. So I go into races expecting to lose lol. It shocks me still to this day how it runs for a 3800lb V6 with a lazy first gear. But it's mostly a win/win for me. I win, they got beat by a Hyundai. They win, they beat a Hyundai

LOL...I hear ya, man.

You have a sweet car. No matter what it is, just be proud of it. You keep racking up the wins so the car speaks for itself.

Thanks bro. I absolutely love it out of all the cars I've had.

It would take a serious amount of egging on your part for me to even consider racing a Hyundai. lol

Glad you still get runs in tho.

I've had similar situations happen to me which is why I made the comment I did. I will get people that will pursue me to the point of it being annoying so I decide to "shut them up" as you said. I usually don't bother downshifting to do so. lol

But sometimes that ends up biting me. There was a turbo SS Cobalt that was harassing me one night on the way home with the wife. Just wouldn't get the hint that I wasn't interested. After awhile I caved and just left it in 3rd. When we hit he stayed at my door for a second. Once I got into the meat of 3rd I pulled a quick car on him. By about that time my wife hit my arm to let me know that was enough so I didn't get to really put the hurt on him. Come to find out later that after our run he went around telling people that I barely beat him. Dang kids!

Same thing happened to me with a kid in a V6 mustang. He said he spanked my ***. I posted the video to our facebook group and they tagged him. I was like um...what was that lol

And I get the same arm nudge from my wife

He said I shut down early and if we would have kept going he would have come around me. Sounded like something Mystic would say. LMAO

My wife is pretty chill about it most of the time. But she gets a little nervous about cops, especially when we have more than doubled the posted speed limit.

You guys have to stop cruising with the wife since "most of them" will not let you have any fun. I am at the point where the wife will not even get in the car anymore....job well done.

Yeah is the one who's filmed all my races the last 3yrs She just gets pissed when I play in town too, once everyone know my car and what it sounds like. Especially cops...I was just fixing to give this turbo 4cyl Mustang the business, but got in trouble by her

My wife would stop going to dinner with me if I forced her to drive herself. Haha

I just hate the "burning a hole in the side of my head" state I get a lot from her
