Default 335i vs 04 ctsv

Ctsv mods: Intake, muffler delete and short throw shifter

335i mods: dci, intercooler, charge pipe, Catless downpipes, exhaust, jb4, fuel it stage 1 and s e85 flash

This run we had no passengers and I was on 22psi, he didn't want me to take it easy on him.

We got to talking yesterday and agreed to make another run this time with me on 8psi and 2 passengers and him with one.

First run I honked it off and I jumped out 2.5-3cars mid ways through second and stayed there. He spun 1st and 2nd.

2nd run, he asked me to give him the hit before I went I agreed and we did it again. This time I jumped out 1.5 by about the same time and held it there.

His best time so far at the track has been a 2.3 60ft with a 13.8. He needs better tires.

They're a pain in the *** to get off the line with the amount of wheel hop they have. I don't think he's got enough to take you either way, but he def should be faster than 13.8... I'd expect somewhere around 13.4, 13.3 range... even on street tires.

Good kill.

Yeah, he can't launch for **** on his current tires.

On my 8psi setting I think it will be very close if he hooks.

Car traps about 107-109 in stock trim, IMO. Intake is useless mod in these cars. I'm pushing some pretty decent numbers for a V1 and still on stock airbox. LOL

He hasn't gotten close to those traps, I haven't seen any stock v1 here do anywhere near 109, most trap 104-106 stock that I've seen.

The intake was already on the car.

Must have some shitty drivers out there or some bad DA. LOL I'm guessing 13.6-14.0 territory too?

Either way, man... Good kill.

His best is a 13.8 with a 2.3 60ft, so he can improve. Da that night was 1900.

Yeah most 04s ive seen have been 13.5-13.8. The track is around 600ft, but in the summer the da stays around 1900-2200. During the winter it will go negative. Which is what im waiting for.
