My car makes a little over 600 and only trapped 132. I guess its a Ford product so its a piece of trash anyway.

You just said slow. Not slow for the hp

In that case I suppose that's true. Yeah I think 620-650 rwhp is the range stock.

That's what 4500 lbs gets you but that 6.2 pushes it pretty good to be 10 sec capable stock on DR with near 130 mph traps. The motor is also very well built. As well as the rest of the driveline. They don't heat soak that easy. Solid cars.

It's no GM product but I can't hate on it

That's what I meant lol. Imagine if those cars only weighed 3800 lbs.

Weight tends to make vehicles slow.

Only mods:

17" Drag Radials
Driveshaft
Lower Pulley
Cat Delete
E85
Tune for 13 psi.

It is a coworkers car, I just installed some of the bolt ons.

Considering the weight & stock rear gear ratio, I think it is pretty impressive. I believe it is a little over 700 whp without removing the valve covers or blower.

Hellcats are solid cars. That A8 don't care about that weight matched with the blower torque. Hell the 392 has no trouble keeping up with a 6th gen ss with a huge weight disadvantage. High 9's is flat out getting it done with light bolt ons. Careless about the weight. ****** is running 9's already.

Wow, TT496, that is scooting for bolt ons. Thanks for sharing!

I've only had the chance to see some old bastards fail with stick ones running 12s

Amazing that they can get that lard-*** to fly like that.

somebody needs to turbo a Hellcat..

I used to have a 70 Challenger R/T 440 with T/A hood and spoiler..God, if I had kept it.

Screw the Hellcat and the Ram version that will probably never be made...I want to see the "Trackhawk" Jeep version...

AWD 700hp Jeep Grand Cherokee(which is the Mercedes ML platform)? Yes please. Dodge owns the Hellcat/SRT badging rights now, so it would be most likely be branded as a Trackhawk package to go along side the Trailhawk off road versions.

Yea, its a few hundred lbs heavier then the Challenger...but AWD and the monster tq of the blown Hemi would be an absolute monster from a dig.

I wasn't at the track, but I think this is a 2nd gear foot brake launch… mostly because the owner doesn't want to install smaller rear brakes to fit a real slick on a 15" rim…

I am not a big mopar fan, but this fat girl really moves out…

I can't speak for the newer ones, but the old Torque Flite tranny's from back in the 60's & 70s were bullet proof.

Grand Sport saves the day. Glad it came along to drown out that annoying pd blower whine.

The one in the video I posted is stock, including stock converter and stock rear gear ratio. Unlike a TH400 or 4l80e they are a clutch to clutch transmission, so shift timing is very critical, but they seem to have it figured out on the new GM & Chrysler transmissions.
