So it's late and I'm giving my buddy a ride home. Then on the next on-ramp I see this clean White Lamborghini Huracan merge on the highway just behind me. Surprisingly he pulls up besides me and gives me a thumbs up. Usually cars like that don't even look at me. I reply the same and he gestures if I'm game. Heck yea so we slow down to 40. I'm in 3rd when he honks it off and I take the hit. We're door to door for a little then he downshifts (doesn't know how to drive?) and finally starts to pull. I powershift to 4th and by 110 he's 2 cars out on me. I let off and he keeps going, never see him again.

I was surprised, I thought he would murder me. Then again he probably had it in auto as it took a while for it to downshift. Still though now I'm just more exited to go ProCharger

So awesome to run into a Huracan man. IMO the guy had to be either be messing with ya or simply not driving the car to its potential. Those cars can run lower mid 10s at ~135mph. They're about 600hp and weigh in the 3100lb range. Regardless, that's a total win for you having that opportunity.

That in itself is worth it. It's funny seeing a first year Gallardo in person when the owner actually thinks it's fast. These new ones scoot.

 

Next time start in 2nd gear and jump out on him, make him put the go pedal all the way down to catch ya. He would have freight trained you, but he would have been worried for a split second lol!

When I was basic bolt-on (before cams), I ran a +600Hp CTV from a 40 roll. It was cool for about 3 or 4 seconds and then it walked away hard...almost like I was standing still.
Regardless, it is cool that you had the opportunity to run one.

 

Horsepower was accurate curb weight was a little off tho :
2016 Lamborghini Huracan

Horsepower: 573 to 602 hp
MPG: Up to 14 city / 21 highway
Curb weight: 3,399 lbs

 

Yes sir, there's a weight difference between the rear-wheel drive version and all-wheel drive version. I seen the rear-wheel drive at 3,135 lbs. RWD has the 573hp and AWD has the 602hp. Either come out to about 10.5 lbs/hp.
