That is one of the post ridiculous statements I've heard to date.

you know, the mass of supra's powers comes from it's turbocharger(s). same with grand nationals now that i think about it. oh and hey, high end benz's and their superchargers too!

i've never understood why people don't mention any of those cars and their forced induction in these "cobra ain't **** without a supercharger" discussions. hell even the ferrari F40 was a FI v8.

Sorry to double post but your racing the combination not just the engine. Whether it be nitrous, turbo, or supercharged you must respect it if your n/a. Otherwise if you can't beat them join them!

The mass of the LS1's power comes from 5.7 liters.

Yup... but does the rest of the power come from the other .3 liters or something?

I havent been whoring a lot lately, so, I am double posting instead of using the edit button...

This was a rediculously dumb and pointless thread. I can understand posting in the wrong forum, I used to do it, when we didnt have moderators in this section, as this was like a kill section and lounge combined, though, those days are long gone

No prob, man, and my apologies to all for posting this topic in here. I will direct further threads such as this to another area. I had a few beers and like to get people going, Unit! I really dig the snakes. In fact, our second car is probably going to get replaced soon and I am looking at the Ford line! Actually, I would like to have a truck so the Lightnings intrigue me quite a bit.

This thread makes me feel good, because now I can pull up next to an F-body in an accord and go " the only reason you make power is because you are running 4 extra cylinders and 2 less doors. lets make it even!"

Then we'll just yank the heads off one side of the engine, and weld two extra doors to the f-body.

And you all talk about ricers making excuses. Sheesh.

If you want to cry about not having a supercharger, or how the Cobra's would be slow without them, go to another forum you *****! Go buy a honda and hang out with the little crybaby fucksticks. Jesus, if you wanted a cupercharged car from the factory, sell whatever you have and get a ******* Cobra. THey don't do much for me, a couple around here with 500 rwhp that cant beat a STOCK 2002 Z06 with a varram intake...I hate it when F-body or Vette guys cry about how the Cobra has a blower, get over it you bunch of pussies. "what if" statements are for people with slow cars and hurt *****'s. Make your car faster and go beat some Cobra's...I did that and haven't had a cobra be within a dozen carlengths yet around here! ******' cry baby *****'s......

just my thoughts...

I'm not sure if this has been stated already or not (I refuse to read anymore of this garbage), but I have a few things I would like to say.

Whether or not I have killed anything is superfluous. Read the post.
1. Actually, you "killing" something is the whole purpose of this section ... your stupid and annoying little discussion that doesn't belong here is the only superfluous part of this thread.

2. We read your post, it sounds like it was created by a 9 year old ... now do us all a favor and attempt to read this sections title before you post anymore ridiculous threads.

3. Regardless of your theory, an 03-04 cobra would still rip the doors off of your car ... so going by your hypothesis, one would ponder why you WOULDN'T put a supercharger on a car ... Does having a relatively slow car allow you to conjure up these retarded "theories" easier, or would you just do that regardless of what kind of car you have?

haha, I know... I was just messing with ya, but I found your quote kinda funny, like there was some power being made from somewhere different then the 5.7l engine... maybe the other c.i.'s it doesnt have? Or maybe the seats give you the rest of you power. Perhaps its the windshield wipers or the passenger side door. See what I mean? haha

when u said ".3 litres makes it faster", i thought u were talking about the blower which WOULD be realistic if u were talking about the blower right?
because the volume does add up to around that right? well maybe not as much as .3 litres.

More atmospheric pressure creates more cubes, in theory. Running 14.7 psi of boost is equivalent to doubling the size of your motor.

And yeah, the blower can sometimes be considered as extra cubes, but not really. That'd be like counting your intake manifold as more cubes.
