I believe the A10 SS and A10 5.0 will run similar times. The A10 SS will gain a little trap over the A8 cars by not having the 4-5 drop. Seems LT1s currently have bolton NA advantage over the 5.0s... should maintain that provided the A10 tuning falls in line.
Have been looking at ZL1 A10 stock tune files. Here is the difference in gear splits from the A10 to the A8.
A10 has slightly steeper ratios down low without the larger 4-5 ratio drop.
The steeper 1st will make it harder to launch. While it may trap slightly higher I doubt they going to show any real gain in the 1/4. Past that point perhaps. It's also a weaker transmission. No converter shudder reports yet so that's a bonus for those staying stock.

I can also use a factory aluminum head on it. Although now the aftermarket has patched up that **** of a engine known as a Windsor.
