LS1 vs LT1
The other night I was uptown grabbing a coke, when my friends old (recently sold) 94 Z28 (auto, hardtop) rolls by and throws a rev at me. I jumped in my car and followed him. I took the scenic route to my friends house
so I could hopefully get a run with the guy. I pulled up along side him at ~60 in 3rd gear. I gave it a hit to let him know I was game.
He did the same, took the hit and stayed into it. As soon as I heard him hit it, I hit it and reeled him in then pulled a few lengths by the time I hit 4th (with the clutch pedal already sticking to the floor
) And shut it down. He was quite a ways back.
I slowed down, made a u-turn, and went back on my way.
When my friend sold the car, he had a programmer, 3.73's, a shift kit, K&N FIPK, BBK headers, and a catback. This was probably my first run since May, and damn it felt good.
