I was driving to go visit a friend out of town last night, and as I was searching for the street in the directions he gave me, I noticed a newer GT conv moving up pretty fast on me. He got up beside me and hit it right away, and I reluctantly didn't go just because I figured my exit would be coming up... turns out it didnt, and we hit a red light.

I looked over at him and him and his buddy had a ****-eating grin on their faces like they were gonna hand me my ***.. so I knew it was on for sure. My gf was in the car and didnt want me to race, but I couldnt let this GT think it was all badass. Light went green, I eased it off the line while he hit it breaking his tires loose. I got on it about mid-intersection and we were even to about 40, and I pulled ahead about half a car, hit second gear and jumped immediatly another car ahead.. the gf saw my exit so I had to brake pretty hard to get over in time. It was only about a 0-65 run, so nothing too exciting, but I'm pretty sure it woulda just got worse from there. I didn't spray, of course.
